A type of blaster meant to interfere with electronics. It is also called an Ion Blaster by some.

A typical blaster, which fires bolts of plasma, but unlike most it carries an ionic cloud that permeates around the point where the shot hit. This ionic cloud can cause electrical interference by causes sparks/electrical currents to flow out and around electronics. This makes it very effective against mechanical foes.
