These bots, in the early days of Vandorica, dug the tunnels that now make up the under city. They now work to mine the asteroids in the system. They now work closely with the Aeronaticons.

At present they typically transform into mining hover tank shaped vehicles.
History[]
They evolved out of the original Vandoran miners who first visited the planet. They are still treated with little respect by the higher classes.
Before regaining access to space, the Minercons dug the tunnels that became Under City, while searching for resources.
In present time, Minercons are taken out into the Solar System's asteroid field to mine them for resources.
