The covering is made, as its name suggests, three layers, connected by Bio-Circuits.
The first layer is a synthetic covering that mimics organic flesh, the second layer is a insulating coating that keeps out radiation and the final layer is Reconstructive Armor.
These three layers combine to give the TTANC, a near perfect disguise (the synthetic layer even generates scent molecules), shielding from such things as cosmic radiation, protection and the ability to take on multiple forms during its lifetime.
